4TH OF JULY FESTIVITIES 2022
Kid’s Fishing Derby – JULY 3RD, 2022 from 6:30 am to 11:30 am. This is a catch-and-release fishing derby. Fish should be brought alive to the LaValley Camp dock. (Northeast Side, Yellow Camp)
July 4th 2022
Poker Run MAP WILL BE LOADED ON FACEBOOK PRIOR TO THE RUN.
12 pm to 1 pm – Motorized boats may take those needing assistance to collect their poker hands
1 pm to 4 pm – Non-Motorized boats only.
Paddle around the pond and look for 5 different silver buckets on 5 different docks to collect your poker hand. DO NOT open the envelopes until you get to the designated dock (Monahan's, NE side of Lake ) where your hand will be verified and recorded. We encourage those that host the poker card docks to show off your festive 4th of July Spirit. Keep an eye out for "fun" docks for you to stop at on your way. A map of the docks will be provided on Facebook the day prior.
Boat Parade 7 pm – The boat parade is for motorized boats. We strongly encourage you to dress your boat up in 4th of July décor. The boats with the most elaborate decorations get the most cheers from the shore. Be creative and add that flare!! Boats are to line up at the boat launch at 6:55 pm
Flare Lighting 9 pm – Place your flares near the waterfront for all to see and enjoy. Wait for the horn to sound and then light ‘em up. Please be sure to pick up the extinguished and cooled flare remains.
TAG - Date TBD 6:30 pm to 8 pm at the LaValley Camp located at 32 Lake Road. Here is an opportunity to make some summer friends and memories.. Children must come accompanied by an adult. Some fireside seating will be provided but please feel free to bring your own chair. In case of inclement weather, rain date will be determined later
ANNUAL MEETING – July 16th, 2022 - 10 AM Please note this is a new time and format this year. It will be a potluck Brunch with Starbucks coffee provided. Please bring a chair and a brunch dish to share. There will not be a BBQ, instead, four gift cards valued at $50 will be raffled off for those present. The purpose of starting earlier is so we can enjoy the majority of our day.
If there are topics you would like to discuss we ask that you email them so they are added to the agenda. This is to ensure the meeting adjourns timely. You will be called upon if you would like to speak about your topic. Please submit your topics/questions no later than Sunday, June 15th 2022 to email@example.com

FLOATIEPALOOZA -. Date TBD Float in the center of the pond at the north end of the lake (opposite the boat landing). Please do not swim solo to the float area. please arrive by boat or VERY large floatie so you can be seen by boaters
PUMPKINS ON THE POND – Saturday, Oct 8th 2022 TBD You can participate by carving a pumpkin and setting it out roadside with a light for fall residents viewing pleasure. Take a picture of your artwork, because you know it will be dynamite and post it on our Facebook page.
