POKER RUN — SATURDAY, JULY 4 - 1PM - 4PM – Non-Motorized boats only
12PM - 1PM – Motorized boats may take those needing assistance to collect their poker hands
Paddle around the pond and look for 5 different buckets on 5 different docks to collect your poker hand. DO NOT open the envelopes until you get to the designated dock where your hand will be verified and recorded. Designated docks will be posted on our FB page when the event nears.
We encourage those that host the poker docks to show off your festive 4th of July Spirit.
Top 3 hands get VT Scratch Tickets. Winners and where to get your prize will be announced on our FB page. We ask that you collect your winnings by the next day.
BOAT PARADE — SATURDAY, JULY 4 - 7PM
The boat parade is for motorized boats. Boats and sometimes people are dressed up in 4th of July decorations. The boats with the most spirit get the most cheers from the shore. Be creative!! Boats are to line up at the boat launch at 6:50 pm. For Safety, PLEASE arrive on time, and wait until 7PM to start the parade
FLARE LIGHTING — SATURDAY, JULY 4 - 9PM

KID’S FISHING DERBY — SUNDAY, JULY 5 - 6:30AM - 11:30AM (all fish must be checked in by 11:15)
This is a catch-and-release fishing derby. Fish should be brought alive to the Sand Bar. Catches will be tracked and the top 3 catches will receive a trophy
ANNUAL MEETING & BRUNCH — SATURDAY, JULY 18 - 10AM
Meeting begins 10 AM. Please arrive a few minutes early and bring your own chair. The meeting location is Colby Camp at 160 Lake Road. If you have never attended a meeting, we encourage you to come and be an active part of our lake community. Coffee will be provided but please bring a breakfast/brunch dish to share with serving utensils. Four $50 gift cards will be raffled for those in attendance.
FLOATIEPALOOZA — SUNDAY, JULY 19 - 2PM
Float as a group in your own floatie. Location - the center of the north end of the lake. Get creative, socialize, have fun, & meet new people! In case of inclement weather, rain date will be determined. This is a self run event. Show up and make it fun!
PUMPKINS ON THE POND — SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11 - You can participate by carving a pumpkin and setting them out roadside with a light for fall residents viewing pleasure. Take a picture of your artwork, because you know it will be dynamite and tag @nealpondvt our your Facebook page. (It will show up on our page under the Mentions tab)
